2. About Our Services Herd Essence offers: a self-paced video course ("Understanding Your Horse"), private 1:1 coaching (online mentorship), a group journey program ("Reconnect"), and free downloadable guides. All services are provided online.

3. Purchases & Payments All prices are in Euros (€). Payments are processed securely through Stripe and/or PayPal. We do not store your payment card details directly. By completing a purchase, you confirm you are at least 18 years of age, your payment details are valid, and you are authorized to use the payment method provided.

4. Refund & Cancellation Policy

4a. Self-Paced Video Course: We offer a 7-day money-back guarantee from the date of purchase. Contact [email protected] within 7 days for a full refund. Under EU consumer law, you have a 14-day right of withdrawal on digital products. However, by accessing the course content, you agree to waive this right in exchange for immediate access — this will be confirmed at point of purchase. No refunds after 7 days.

4b. Private 1:1 Coaching: Full refund if cancelled at least 48 hours before the scheduled session. 50% refund if cancelled less than 48 hours before. No refund for no-shows or cancellations after the session begins. For entire package cancellations, unused sessions are refunded minus a 10% administration fee.

4c. Group Journey Program ("Reconnect"): Full refund if cancelled before the program begins. 50% refund if cancelled within the first week. No refund after the first week has passed.

4d. Free Downloads: Provided free of charge in exchange for your email address and consent to receive communications from Herd Essence.

5. Digital Products & Access Access to digital products is for personal use only. You may not share, resell, distribute, or reproduce our content without written permission.

6. Disclaimer All content provided by Herd Essence is for educational and informational purposes only. We are not a licensed veterinary or psychological service. Always prioritize your safety and your horse's welfare. Consult a qualified veterinarian or equine professional for health or behavioral concerns.

7. Intellectual Property All content — including text, images, videos, frameworks, and guides — is the intellectual property of Herd Essence and Francine Burghoorn. No reproduction or distribution without prior written permission.

8. Limitation of Liability To the fullest extent permitted by law, Herd Essence shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the relevant product or service.

9. Governing Law These Terms are governed by the laws of Portugal and the European Union. Any disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the Portuguese courts.
